Adam and Rochelle wanted a Turkish/ Middle Eastern theme for the 120 people they had invited to their wedding. Here is what we came up with ....
First we served a mezze, wooden platters with many small dishes including;
Marinated artichoke hearts
Pide (flat Turkish bread)
Smoked salmon taramasalata
Spicy kumara and cashew hummus
Warm mixed olives
Feta cheese marinated in olive oil and chilli
Tzatziki
Dolmades (vine leaves stuffed with rice)
Pastirma (cured beef)
Baba Ganoush (spicy aubergine dip)
Followed by a buffet of:
Prawn cutlets sauteed in chilli and ginger
Chicken tenderloin skewers marinated in cumin, ginger and vinegar and served with garlic aioli
Minced lamb and apricot meatballs served with tomato and mint salsa
Grilled paprika lamb cutlets served with tzatziki
Chickpea, coriander and cumin falafels
Salad of toasted almond, feta, cherry tomato and cucumber
Spicy couscous of red capsicum, roasted aubergine and peanut
For dessert :
Individual glasses of raspberry, rose and pistachio truffle

Kim and Andy's wedding took place in a wool shed (cool venue!). They wanted some hand around canapes for their guests to nibble whilst sipping on their pimms. Followed by a casual hot and cold buffet and dessert.
Here's what we served.....
Canapes:
Crab, chilli, and avocado on cucumber
Sugar cured duck breast with cranberry on toasts
Pork and venison terrine with rhubarb on toasts
Buffet:
Antipasto- marinated olives, artichoke hearts, feta in hot oil hummus, Parma ham, served with a selection of breads and pickles
Sesame and herb crusted roast sides of salmon, served with dill and mustard mayonnaise
Carved fillet of roast beef with bearnaise sauce
Salad of blackpudding, baby spinach, and poached pear with spicy peanut dressing
Warm minted new potatoes
Tomato and basil salad with balsamic dressing
Dressed mixed salad leaves
Baskets of bread and butter
Dessert:
White chocolate profiterols filled with chantilly cream
Dark chocolate praline tart served with cherry compot
